Digital technology adoption among Czech companies is increasing, yet still falls short of the EU average, according to data from the Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ). In 2024, 46% of Czech businesses used internet speeds over 100 Mbps, compared to the EU average of 65%. Similarly, AI tools were employed by 11% of Czech companies, below the EU average of 13%.

Countries like Denmark lead in AI adoption (28%) and high-speed internet (90% of firms), while Czechia outperforms the EU average in cybersecurity, with 27% of companies reporting cyberattacks versus 21.5% in the EU. Larger Czech firms (41%) are more likely to use AI than smaller ones, particularly for advanced text or speech generation and machine learning, highlighting opportunities for further growth in the sector.
